Peterbuilt

Today seems like another lit day for a post. I also changed the fucking sick "tacky myspace" layout I had. Someone was too obsessed and nit picky about it. As a result I like the color maroon so I went with this new generic boring layout that is simple. I guess its not so bad I do prefer my myspace layout though
Peterbuilt was a band from Florida that surprisingly I found out they were also in the band Rosalind (Which also shared members from Carlisle) Peterbuilt is a nice emo band with a little Jawbreaker touch, but not too much though. This is the second release from Hazel records the 1st being Rosalind and the 3rd being Carlisle's self titled. So this pretty much is the end for Hazel records. Peterbuilt released a full length cd a few years after the 7" but I have more long for the 7" than anything else. The band shorlty after disbanded but also had recorded a second full length that wasn't released until now. The band did a reunion in 2014 and released a flexi 7" for the show. Looks like they are still selling it. You can check the bands bandcamp. Lets get back to the first 7", Hazel did a press run of 500 which I believe there are 2 different cover versions of the record. One being a blue cover and the other black (Which I have) the 7" has 2 inserts, one from Hazel and the other a lyrics insert (Nice as usual). I think we can all admire this bands 7"

Rosalind's demo tape & Studio sessions

I've been getting stoned too often that I forgot to bring this up a few weeks ago. After leaving a photo on instagram of my Rosalind 7" one of the members found me and told me about some demos, I didn't think he would send them to me until like last month or something (I didn't know anything about instagram messaging) I have mentioned this short lived band so I don't need to do introductions for this band. So here is some of the bands more rare stuff; a pretty rough 3 song demo and 4 songs in decent live quality from a studio (The band had more than just two songs, about 6 I think if you include the demo ones) He asked not to share the dropbox file since he was going to delete it (Likely did by now) but I posted them on my own account so they can be shared around. The band still follows the same 7" style of routine.

Carlisle/Rosalind

Carlisle was a super dope screamo/hardcore band from Florida in the mid/late 90's the band was some sort of project, they released a demo tape along with 2 7"s, they appeared in about 2 compilations and that's pretty much it... Tell me about it. The band released a discography cd through IFB records which contains the last new ones recorded sometime in 2005 (which is about 8) along with the comp tracks and 7"s and demo. They left a pretty gnarly discography they might have done a reunion around that time as well. Waffle head may be one of my favorite and most memorable ones from this band. I decided to give ya'll the vinyl version of the 7"s (I will be doing this now, I feel so cool about it) Some of the members were also in a short lived band called Rosalind who released a 2 song 7", one of the band members had contacted me a while back and also mentioned a 4 track tape of some sort but hasn't had luck finding it but was amazed that I actually own that bands 7" I ripped it out as well since there are no mp3's and after the past how many years? like 16 years? These 2 songs are finally gonna float around the internet, someone had to buy that 7" and rip it out. Might as well let the nerd take care of real business.

This Means Everything To Me

This here is Rosalind's 7" released on the same label from Carlisle's first 7" (Only about 3 releases were made on that label I own 2 and I plan on owning the other one sometime soon) They must've been very short lived from the looks of only releasing these 2 songs, I am surprised no one really talks about this band whenever they throw Carlisle out, this is also another important piece of the puzzle for emo cause this shit is very underrated and the song Auburn may be one of the most emo songs I have ever hears, ever.. In my opinion it tops I hate myself any day.. And that is saying a lot... Just be glad I own this copy and I ripped it to share with you guys. Please cry tonight to these. Rosalind 7"
