Revival

Almost done, got a new laptop and will be receiving a CD drive for the laptop in the next 2 days so I can start ripping the many CDs I have and I never got to share with you guys. I was thinking of creating a instagram and basically having a google drive file and link it up to the bio so everyone can simply download everything I post up on there. 95% of vinyl is complete and I believe I have all tapes ripped set up. All I need to do next is the countless of CDs I got. Yes CDs. Hopefully by the end of this week I have things rolling in and new links set up. If you barely found me well you are in luck because I am starting all of this a little differently. I will likely start off with easier to listen bands. It be a complete 180 to throw someone Heroin's discography you know. I have a couple of stuff you guys might hate me for but honestly most of the stuff I have is based on what I grew up with from either the internet in the last fm mid 00s or music from the 00s and early/mid 10's. I am not going to god damn listen to any new stuff. I was known for being that guy who likes the bands first 3 albums and that's fucking hell, theres plenty of reasons to explain why I do though its not often hahah. Anyways give me this whole week and I'll slowly start throwing you guys some free downloads based on my god damn entire collection of vinyl, tapes, and CDs (which in the recent years ive been gathering for the purpose of the quality and my time) Besides I want to be pretty open and not exclusive. Ive been on both sides of the fence. Then you have friends showing you some Equal vision album you end up liking because it catchy and it sticks to you (many many albums I would like to dedicate to friends that showed me many incredible bands, even the ones I had mocked and teased a little when I was 16)

So why Cds?
I didnt necessarily grew up with vinyl, I only happen to grow up one day as a adult and and then one day I got a job and started buying some of this vinyl I got here. Though remember I only happened to have grabbed mostly specific things I always wanted on vinyl (with many remarkable "no other way to listen to this band" on vinyl) I had grown up more to cassettes and CDs. It all started when I was 10 sometime in 2002 (whatever wave of emo it was right there, besides I was 10. fuck else I know besides when your sisters favorite CDs are all from 2002 oven fresh music video bands and your moms Suicidal tendencies, Slayer and Metallica albums. I think ill start off with a good couple of "emo" CDs from the era I first heard this wave of emo though I consider it pop punk but you know what, everyone has to take baby steps. I'll continue back to some flashbacks of 90s emo/hardcore and the underground 00s emo. Besides CDs are the easiest I can easily rip them without having to listen to the entire album. unlike vinyl ripping that takes a lot of time.

How about those digital mp3 bands?
I dont think ill include any of the Myspace bands (even though I grew up to most of them) I will give Thisendlessbreath whatever myspace mp3s I got.

vinyl? I do think I will start with the CDs due to being the best quality and easiest though the most delicate. Then again theres many bands that were only on vinyl and not CD which I also happen to have. I will slowly introduce the vinyl are obscure/rare released slowly. Though I know thats the stuff a lot of you are waiting for I will try my best to bring all of them as quickly as possible. The vinyl is going to come in just be patient with some of this stuff since I will have to rip a couple of the records again (10 or 12 so it isnt many). I dont think I plan on buying any vinyl in the near future I feel like I have most on what I always wanted.

How about cassettes?
Yes I have a couple, nope not going to buy any of those. I honestly was more of a fan boy of the off cloud nine and Plastic smile records. No one else did it better to this fucking day. Im not fucking with any other label that releases tapes. Nolans music was half of my college stuff. Unfortunately I always had bad experience swith other labels so I tried to stsy away from cassette. There will be plenty of mentions and downloads for the ones I got so youll get plenty of tape action as well.
